Hi all, this is not a Chaton-post ;D - so more of a collaborative approach for guidance. Please add ur knowledge:

The cards come with a LOT of stats, not all of which are as clear as health points (HP) are attack (AT). If u dont understand some of them, ask here. Maybe we can make a summary after a while. Here are my questions:

What exactly is phy/mag def compared to phy/mag resistance? - I assume def is reducing enemy accuracy, but that is what dodge should be for, so i am not really sure; resist reduces dmg taken by a certain percentage and directly counter phys/mag penetration, aggree?
What exactly is injury free? - So far, I assumed its just a plain dmg reduction, e.g. if ur hit for 10k hand have 2k injury free, u gonna receive only 8k, I also assume that it deducts AFTER resists are applied
What count as `effects'? - in gem activation u'll find the stat effects, not sure what counts as effects and what the effect stat actually does to them

I think injury free is the most important stat. It appears that indeed, it reduces the damage you take so aim for injury free golden gems and polish your orange gear for injury free also.

I didn't see phys/mag def and phis mag resistance that i recall of, but i'm sure they all are converted into percentages that reduce a portion of the damage received, instead of a flat amount like injury free does.
All red gems should be with HP and damage , also on each LVL 5 other colours also go for dmg and hp then the best coloured stats in order of gem level as usual.

Effects seem to be the healing over time or stuff that buff cards, like increase hp, increase resist, increase crit chance, heal over time etc. not the best stat if u ask me.

I think this is about it. Feel free to add to this post more info so we can together clear things out. For me it isn't super clear either.

Well that's an interesting post and lot of questions ahead.
In my opinion there are always 2 opposite stats. Well most of the time.

Physical attack and physical defense.
Magical attack and magical defense.

Physical Penetration and Physical resistance.
Magical Penetration and Magical resistance.
What I think is that on a strike your damages are split into Physical/Magical damages and Physical/Magical Penetration damages. I think that your Physical/Magical Penetration damages is a % of your damages according to the value you get in Physical/Magical Penetration stats.
So your Physical/Magical damages will be counter by Physical/Magical Defense and your Physical/Magical Penetration damages will be counter by Physical/Magical Resistance.

Dodge and Accuracy.
Crit and Toughness.

I am wondering if Effects increase your %chance of stun/polymorph for example and the opposite stat will be Control Resistance. But maybe Effects will also increase all kind of %chance of effects. As for the Canon Lady who can trigger her initiative skill twice or the Shaman Healer who can resurecting ...

I have really no idea about P-DMG BUFF and M-DMG BUFF, maybe it will increase some talents as +10% magical damage, +1500 attack, +2000 magic penetration ...

Healing buff might increase talents as +X% Healing done, or also HOT

And about Injury free I think also that it reduces the damage taken but I also noticed (well i am not sure) that sometimes your hero when hit take a very few damages so I am wondering if sometimes Injury-free don't give you a little chance (maybe bigger with a bigger amount of Injury-free) to reduce damage taken by a huge amount like a critical defense.

So we agree that it is unclear. Thats also progress Very Happy

Chaton, u really think def is the counter att? That would be HUGE, far more impactful than, e.g., injury free for example. This is also why i am not so sure. I agree on all the other stuff u guys said.

Tactik, u find phys/mag def in the activation display, like all the other stats

Well when I say counter I should say reduce. But what I think is for example your physical attack damage will be reduced first by a % depending on target's physical defense then reduced again with Injury-free.

Aye Snubble but I think phis defense and resist are the same stuff.
Reduction is very important and it will continue to increase it's value once the damage increase. Not getting card 1 shotted in first round is crucial in PvP. In PvE you have to make your tank otherworldly in order to not die.
At the current boss I'm at , he hits for 500 000+ ... jesus. So I guess a dodge team will be needed for my progress, or the druid and winter fully maxed to burst him down wile my arcane brick holds him down for 4 rounds.
